Misión Kateri Mission is composed of indigenous community leaders, anthropologists, communication experts, and a group of volunteers who carry out various activities to promote the culture of the indigenous peoples of Sonora, inspired by Father David Beaumont, a Capuchin friar with over 30 years of presence in indigenous communities.
To promote the knowledge, strengthening, and dissemination of the spirituality and culture of the indigenous peoples of Sonora.
To be an association recognized for its cultural contribution in the dissemination and strengthening of the traditions and spirituality of indigenous peoples, particularly in Sonora, Mexico.

1. Promote knowledge, strengthening, and dissemination of the spirituality and culture of the indigenous peoples of Sonora.
2. Create and coordinate digital communities and advise on the management of social media platforms specific to indigenous groups.
3. Train community leaders in the production of their own communicative material: photography, video, editing, and oral expression.
4. Offer courses and workshops through indigenous group leaders that strengthen their traditions, mother tongue, and living conditions.
5. Document cultural and spiritual traditions of the indigenous groups in the state of Sonora.
6. Develop and publish books, photographic exhibitions, and documentaries.
7. Organize and promote cultural events and intercultural encounters.
8. Conduct national and international fundraising activities to sustain the project.
